You are not alone in this.
You don't have to go through this alone. Talk to someone who listens — safely, privately, and without judgement. She Rises connects Dawoodi Bohra women with real support, right when you need it.
A community that holds you.
She Rises exists because too many women carry their hardest moments alone. We're changing that — one conversation at a time.
Privacy, always
What you share stays between you and the person supporting you. No case is discussed outside that thread.
Rooted in community
We understand the faith, the family expectations, and the culture — support here doesn't ask you to leave that behind.
Real support, not just listening
Every conversation is guided to the right person — a trained volunteer first, and a counsellor when it's needed.
Stories and conversations worth hearing.
Reaching out is simpler than you think.

Podcasts & articles, in our own words.
Conversations on faith, motherhood, marriage, grief, and healing — by and for Dawoodi Bohra women. Everything here links out to the original episode or piece.
Whatever you're carrying, you don't have to carry it silently.
She Rises is not therapy, and it's not a hotline that leaves you on hold. It's a real person — from your own community — who listens first, and helps you find the right next step.
Your name stays with you
Only the person supporting you sees your details. Nothing is shared beyond that.
No judgement, no lectures
Whether it's marriage, family, faith, or your own mind — you'll be heard, not corrected.
You set the pace
Share as much or as little as you want. There's no form to fill before someone responds.

Learn directly from professionals — coming soon.
We're building a space for live and recorded workshops on the topics women write to us about most — mental health, marriage, motherhood, grief, and more — each led by a qualified professional from our network.
What to expect
- Workshops run by counsellors, therapists, and other professionals already part of She Rises
- A range of topics — the same ones you already see across our Voices library and counsellor directory
- Simple, secure booking with a payment option, so a workshop is confirmed the moment you register
Want to be notified the moment the first workshop opens? Reach out to us in the meantime and we'll let you know personally.
Built from within the community, for the community.
She Rises began as a simple idea: Dawoodi Bohra women needed a space to talk that truly understood their world — the faith, the family ties, the expectations, and the quiet struggles that often go unspoken.
What started as informal conversations has grown into a small but dedicated circle of volunteers and counsellors, working to make sure no woman in our community feels she has nowhere to turn.

Faith-rooted, not faith-avoidant
We don't ask women to set aside their beliefs to get support — our approach holds both together.
Confidential by default
Every conversation is treated with the same privacy you'd expect from family — but without the judgement.
Community-trained volunteers
Our volunteers are trained to listen, triage, and connect — not to diagnose or replace professional care.
Always a path forward
Whether it's a listening ear or a licensed counsellor, every woman who reaches out is guided to a next step.
